ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS WITH LENGTH OF STAY CORONAVIRUS DISEASE PATIENTS IN THE GROUP OF ADULT AT INSTALATION OF ABDUL MOELOEK HOSPITAL BANDAR LAMPUNG 2020 By ATHALLAH NAUFALZA Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 is a virus that was first discovered in Wuhan, China 2019, better known as Covid-19. Covid-19 is an acute respiratory disease caused by the Serve Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Hemoglobin is a tetrameric protein of erythrocytes that has a function, including as a carrier of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the body. The deficiency of hemoglobin levels in the body, commonly referred to as anemia, can be associated with poor clinical status and a major risk factor for length of hospitalization. This study aimed to determine the relationship between hemoglobin (Hb) levels in adult patients and length of stay in COVID-19 patients at Abdul Moeloek Hospital, Lampung Province, in 2020. Methods: This research was conducted in February-April 2022 in the medical record room of RSUD Dr. H Abdul Moloek with a Cross-Sectional study. 119 Coronavirus Disease 2019 patients in 2020 met the study criteria. Samples were taken by the total sampling method. Statistical analysis was performed with univariate and bivariate analysis. Result: The results of the bivariate analysis with the chi-square test showed that the p-value was 0.011 (p<0.05), which indicated a relationship between hemoglobin levels and length of stay in adult Covid-19 patients at Dr. Hospital. H Abdul Moloek, Lampung Province in 2020. Conclusion: There is a statistically significant relationship between hemoglobin levels and length of stay in adult Covid-19 patients at Dr. Hospital. Covid-19 merupakan penyakit saluran pernapasan akut yang disebabkan oleh Serve Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Hemoglobin adalah suatu protein tetrametric eritrosit yang memiliki fungsi diantaranya adalah sebagai pengangkut oksigen dan karbondioksida didalam tubuh. Kekurangan kadar hemoglobin didalam tubuh atau yang biasa disebut dengan anemia dapat berhubungan dengan status klinis yang buruk dan sebuah factor resiko yang besar terhadap lama rawat inap. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar Hemoglobin (Hb) dengan lama rawat inap pasien Covid-19 pada kelompok umur dewasa yang ada di RSUD Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung pada tahun 2020. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari-April 2022 di ruang rekam medis RSUD Dr. H Abdul Moloek dengan studi Cross Sectional. Terdapat 119 Pasien Coronavirus Disease 2019 tahun 2020 yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Sampel diambil dengan metode total sampling. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil: Hasil analisis bivariat dengan uji chi square menunjukkan nilai p adalah 0.011 (p<0.05) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kadar hemoglobin dengan lama rawat inap pasien Covid-19 pada kelompok umur dewasa di RSUD Dr. H Abdul Moloek Provinsi Lampung Tahun 2020. Kesimpulan: terdapat hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik antara kadar hemoglobin dengan lama rawat inap pasien Covid-19 pada kelompok umur dewasa di RSUD Dr. H Abdul Moloek Provinsi Lampung Tahun 2020.
