Abstrak

Abstract: Developmant of magnetic demonstrating devices for the concept of electromagnetism on physics in senior high school. The use of learning media is an alternative strategy to make learning process more effective, to provide a real and meaningful learning experience, and to engage the students as the main subjects throughout learning. In an effort to tackle the lack of learning resources for the teachers and the students, especifically in understanding the concept of electromagnetism, a set of demonstrating devices for illustrating elegtromagnetism were created and developed to produce easier, more effective, and more stimulating learning process. This development research is adopting Sugiyono’s development model, the procedure of which consists of ten phases. Expert assessment confirms that the product is both consistent with relevant theories and reasonably feasible. Moreover, both primary and operational field analyses indicate that the demonstrating devices for elegtromagnetism, as well as the guide worksheet, function effectively as learning media. Abstrak: Pengembangan alat peraga kemagnetan materi elektromagnetik untuk pembelajaran fisika sma. Penggunaan media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu alternatif strategi agar proses pembelajaran lebih efektif, memberikan pengalaman belajar secara nyata, dan melibatkan siswa sebagai subjek dalam proses pembelajaran. Sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi kekurangan sumber belajar bagi guru dan siswa, terutama kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep elektromagnetik, dikembangkan media pembelajaran berupa alat peraga elektromagnetik agar proses belajar siswa menjadi lebih mudah, efektif, dan menarik. Penelitian pengembangan mengadaptasi pada model pengembangan Sugiyono yang prosedurnya terdiri dari sepuluh langkah. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan produk telah sesuai dengan teori dan layak digunakan. Hasil uji lapangan utama dan uji lapangan operasional menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga elektromagnetik beserta LKS panduan praktikum efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata kunci: alat peraga, elektromagnetik, media pembelajaran, penelitian pengembangan.
