ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN E-MAGAZINE ARITMATIKA SOSIAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS Oleh MELINDA PRADESTA Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa e-magazine dengan materi aritmatika sosial yang valid, praktis dan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Proses pengembangan media ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh Borg dan Gall. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Islam 01 Kalirejo Lampung Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 Subjek pada penelitian ini dipilih dengan teknik purpose sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, angket dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan uji-t.Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil validasi pengembangan e-magazine aritmatika sosial oleh dua validator mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 84 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Sedangkan hasil respon guru dan peserta didik terkait e-magazine aritmatika sosial memperoleh hasil kriteria praktis. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample t Test menunjukkan t hitung 2,303 > 2,042 t tabel , sehingga e-magazine aritmatika social efektif meningkatkan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik Kata Kunci: E-Magazine, Aritmatika Sosial, Berpikir kritis. ABSTRACT DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL ARRITHMATIC E-MAGAZINE TO IMPROVE ABILITY MATHEMATIC CRITICAL THINKING By MELINDA PRADESTA This research is a development research that aims to produce a product in the form of an e-magazine with valid, practical and effective social arithmetic material to improve students' critical thinking skills. This media development process uses the research and development model conducted by Borg and Gall. The study population was class VII students at SMP Islam 01 Kalirejo Central Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects in this study were selected using a technique (purpose sampling). Collecting data using interview techniques, questionnaires and tests of critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and t-test. Based on the research, data obtained from the validation results of the development of social arithmetic e-magazines by two validators got an average value of 84 with very valid criteria. Meanwhile, the results of teacher and student responses related to social arithmetic e-magazines obtained results with practical criteria. The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t Test show t count 2,303 > 2,042 t table so that it is effective in improving e-magazine arithmetic students' mathematical critical thinking.
