Standar Nasional Perpustakaan memiliki peranan penting dalam pengembangan perpustakaan. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang penerapan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Nomor 12 Tahun 2017 serta kendala dalam penerapannya yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Nomor 12 Tahun 2017 di Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Natar. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka untuk mendeskripsikan hasil yang telah didapatkan. Terdapat 7 kategori dalam Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Nomor 12 Tahun 2017 yaitu standar koleksi, sarana dan prasarana, pelayanan, tenaga, penyelenggaraan, pengelolaan, serta teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Hasil menunjukan perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Natar belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Nomor 12 Tahun 2017. Kategori yang telah memenuhi standar yaitu hanya standar pengelolaan saja meliputi visi, misi, tujuan, kebijakan, tugas, fungsi, dan anggaran perpustakaan. Kategori yang belum memenuhi standar yaitu standar koleksi yang meliputi jumlah koleksi. Standar sarana dan prasarana meliputi gedung/rung, area, dan lokasi perpustakaan. Standar pelayanan meliputi jam pelayanan perpustakaan, jenis pelayanan perpustakaan, program wajib baca di perpustakaan, program literasi informasi, dan integrasi dengan kurikulum. Standar tenaga perpustakaan meliputi jumlah tenaga perpustakaan. Standar penyelenggaraan meliputi nomor pokok perpustakaan (NPP) dan struktur organisasi serta standar teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Terdapat 33 indikator dari standar tersebut dengan 20 indikator yang sesuai dan 13 indikator yang tidak sesuai dengan persentase tingkat kesesuaian sebesar 60,61% dan persentase tingkat tidak sesuai sebesar 39,39%. Kendala dalam penerapan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Nomor 12 Tahun 2017 di perpustakaan SMA Negeri 1 Natar adalah kurangnya anggaran, kurangnya SDM (tenaga perpustakaan) yang memiliki kompetensi di bidang perpustakaan, kurangnya promosi perpustakaan, dan lokasi perpustakaan yang kurang strategis. In this Final Project, it discusses the implementation of The National Library Standard Number 12 of 2017 and the obstacles in its implementation which aims to find out the implementation of the National Library Standard Number 12 of 2017 at the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Natar. This writing uses qualitative methods through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies to describe the results that have been obtained. There are 7 categories in the National Library Standard Number 12 of 2017, namely collection standards, facilities and infrastructure, services, personnel, implementation, management, also information and communication technology. The results show that the library of SMA Negeri 1 Natar is not fully in accordance with the National Library Standard Number 12 of 2017. Categories that have met the standards, namely only management standards, include the vision, mission, goals, policies, tasks, functions, and budgets of the library. Categories that do not meet the standards are collection standards which include the number of collections. Standard facilities and infrastructure include buildings/rung, areas, and library locations. Service standards include library service hours, types of library services, compulsory reading programs in libraries, information literacy programs, and integration with the curriculum. The standard of library personnel includes the number of library personnel. Implementation standards include library principal numbers (NPP) and organizational structures as well as information and communication technology standards. There are 33 indicators of the standard with 20 corresponding indicators and 13 indicators that do not correspond to the percentage of conformity rate of 60.61% and the percentage of non-conforming rate of 39.39%. Obstacles in the implementation of the National Library Standard Number 12 of 2017 in the library of SMA Negeri 1 Natar are lack of budget, lack of human resources (library personnel) who have competence in the library sector, lack of library promotion, and a less strategic library location.
