Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia : Latar Belakang penyakit infeksi di Indonesia masih termasuk dalam sepuluh penyakit terbanyak. Pemberian antibiotik merupakan pengobatan yang utama dalam penatalaksanaan penyakit infeksi, akan tetapi penggunaan yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan munculnya kuman yang resisten terhadap antibiotik, sehingga manfaatnya akan berkurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kesesuaian penggunaan antibiotik pada balita di Puskesmas Way Urang Kecamatan Kalianda Kabupaten Lampung Selatan periode Januari−Desember 2013. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional dengan menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data secara retrospektif pada bulan Januari−Desember 2013 melalui pengambilan data sekunder. Pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan metode random sampling. Populasi sampel penelitian adalah 225 rekam medis pasien balita. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan antibiotik terbanyak adalah amoksislin (59,6%), jenis penyakit yang paling banyak diderita adalah common cold (52,9%), indikasi pemberian antibiotik yang sesuai sebesar (62,2%) dan yang tidak sesuai (37,7%), dosis pemberian antibiotik yang sesuai sebesar (64,9%) dan yang tidak sesuai sebesar (35,1%), lama penggunaan antibiotik yang sesuai sebesar (98,7%), yang tidak sesuai sebesar (1,3%). Penggunaan antibiotik yang sesuai sebesar (48,4%) dan yang tidak sesuai sebesar (51,6%). Kata kunci : Antibiotik, Balita, IDAI, Kesesuaian Abstract Bahasa Inggris : The background of infections in Indonesia is still among the top ten most prevalent diseases. Antibiotics is a major treatment in the management of infectious diseases, but excessive usage can lead to the emergence of bacteria resistant to antibiotics, so that the benefits will be reduced. The aim of this research was to obtain a compatible use of antibiotics in patient under five at Way Urang health center, district of Kalianda, South Lampung regency period from January to December, 2013. This research was a cross sectional study using a qualitative descriptive design. Retrieval of data retrospectively from January until December 2013 through collected secondary data. The sample was random sampling method. The sample population was 225 medical records of patients todllers. The results of this research indicate that amoxicillin is the highest antibiotic usage (59.6%), the types of most suffered diseases are common cold (52.9%), compatible indications for antibiotics (62.2%) and the uncompatible (37.7%), compatible dose of antibiotics (64.9%) and the uncompatible (35.1%), long for compatible use of antibiotics (98.7%), which is uncompatible for (1.3 %).
