Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

The distribution of goods in large quantities then the amount of transportation costs required is also large. The transportation problem is a problem that often arises in linear programming. To meet the demand for all inventories in order to obtain optimal results, namely the minimum cost, a transportation method is needed. This study discusses the optimization of rice distribution costs in one of the State-Owned Enterprises, namely Bulog Lampung Regional Division with the method used is the Proposed Algorithm as an initial feasible solution, which is then tested for optimality with Modified Distribution. The Proposed Algorithm generates a smaller initial feasible solution and goes through fewer iterations. Then Modified Distribution as an optimal test that the initial feasible solution produced is optimal. The results of the study obtained a reduction in the cost of rice distribution 1.05% of the costs incurred by Bulog Lampung Regional Division. Keywords: Distribution, Transportation Problems, Proposed Algorithm, MODI Pendistribusian barang dalam jumlah besar maka jumlah biaya transportasi yang diperlukan juga besar. Masalah trasnportasi adalah masalah yang sering muncul dalam program linear. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan permintaan dari semua persediaan supaya didapatkan hasil yang optimal yaitu biaya yang minimum maka diperlukan metode transportasi. Dalam penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengoptimalan biaya distribusi beras pada salah satu Badan Usaha Milik Negara yaitu Bulog Divisi Regional Lampung dengan metode yang digunakan adalah Proposed Algorithm sebagai solusi layak awal, yang kemudian di uji optimalitas dengan Modified Distribution. Proposed Algorithm menghasilkan solusi layak awal yang lebih kecil dan melalui iterasi yang sedikit. Kemudian Modified Distribution sebagai uji optimal bahwa solusi layak awal yang dihasilkan sudah optimal. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh didapatkan pengurangan biaya distribusi beras 1.05% dari biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh Bulog Divisi Regional Lampung.
