Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar berbasis lingkungan yang layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan minat membaca peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain Borg & Gall. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik SDN 1 Rajabasa Raya, Bandar Lampung. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket dan observasi. Buku cerita bergambar berbasis lingkungan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat membaca berdasarkan pada hasil uji t-test yaitu t hitung > t tabel (153,03 > 2,0049) dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, dan hasil Uji effectsize diperoleh skor sebesar 0,829 yaitu interpretasi sebesar 0,8 ≤ d ≤ 2,0 di kategorikan memiliki efek yang besar terhadap pengembangan buku cerita bergambar berbasis lingkungan untuk meningkatkan minat membaca peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk buku cerita bergambar berbasis lingkungan layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat membaca peserta didik Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci: buku cerita bergambar, lingkungan, minat membaca. ABSTRACT This research and development aims to develop an appropriate and effective environment-based picture story book to increase student’s reading interest. The research method used a Borg & Gall design. The research sample was students of SDN 1 Rajabasa Raya, Bandar Lampung. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observation sheets Environmentally based illustrated story books are effectively used to increase reading interest based on the results of the t-test, namely tcount > ttable (153.03 > 2.0049) with a significance level of 5%, and the results of the effectsize test obtained a score of 0.829, namely the interpretation of 0.8 d 2.0 is categorized as having a large effect on the development of environmental-based picture story books to increase student’s reading interest. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the environmental-based picture story book product was feasible and effective to be used to increase the reading interest of the fourth grade elementary school students.
