Abstract

.Feast merupakan grup musik yang beraliran Rock dan mulai meramaikan panggung musik di Indonesia. Lagu-lagu ciptaan Feast ini berisi tentang berbagai macam kritik sosial yang menjadi isu di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa makna toleransi yang terdapat pada lirik lagu Album “Beberapa Orang Memaafkan” karya grup musik .feast. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif tentang makna toleransi dari lirik lagu. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data diambil dari lirik lagu dalam album Beberapa Orang Memaafkan karya grup Musik .feast. Dari hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa secara umum representasi sosial dalam lirik lagu album Beberapa Orang Memaafkan, diantaranya berbicara tentang toleransi terhadap pendidikan, toleransi terhadap pembangunan negara, serta toleransi sosial bermasyarakat juga terhadap kepedulian sesama. Kata Kunci : Toleransi, Feast, Beberapa Orang Memaafkan .Feast is a rock band that has started to enliven the music scene in Indonesia. The songs created by Feast contain various kinds of social criticism that have become an issue in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the social meaning of tolerance contained in the lyrics of the album "Some People Forgive" by the music group .feast. This study uses a descriptive type with a qualitative approach. The researcher uses a descriptive approach to the meaning of tolerance from song lyrics. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data sources and secondary data sources. The data collection technique was taken from song lyrics in the album Some People Forgive by the Music group .feast. From the results of this study, it was found that in general social representations in the lyrics of the album Some People Forgive, among others, talk about tolerance for education, tolerance for state development, as well as social tolerance in society as well as concern for others.
