This study aims to compare the results of forecasting the value of Indonesia's exports from January 2016 to March 2022 using the Chen model FTS method with three different samples, namely the first sample, the second sample and the third sample to determine the best number of samples in forecasting this export value by looking at the results. high accuracy of the calculation of MAE (Mean Absolute Error) and MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error ). The results of this study indicate that the first sample is the best sample compared to other samples. Keywords: Forecasting, Fuzzy Time Series, Chen Model, Export Value, MAE, MAPE. Fuzzy Time Series(FTS) merupakan konsep untuk memprediksi masalah dimana data aktual terbentuk dalam nilai-nilai kebahasaan. Salah satu model FTS yang sedang berkembang saat ini adalah FTS model Chen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil peramalan nilai ekspor Indonesia bulan Januari 2016 sampai dengan Maret 2022 menggunakan metode FTS model Chen dengan tiga jumlah sampel yang berbeda yaitu sampel pertama, sampel kedua dan sampel ketiga untuk mengetahui jumlah sampel terbaik dalam peramalan nilai ekspor ini dengan melihat hasil akurasi yang tinggi dari perhitungan MAE(Mean Absolute Error) dan MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error ). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sampel pertama merupakan sampel terbaik dibanding dengan sampel lainnya. Kata Kunci: Peramalan, Fuzzy Time Series, Model Chen, Nilai Ekspor, MAE, MAPE.
