Protestantsche Kerk in Nederlands Indie Tanjungkarang merupakan gereja pertama yang didirikan di Bandarlampung oleh pemerintah kolonial Belanda untuk keperluan keagamaan. Pembangunan gereja ini memakan waktu yang cukup lama karena berbagai kendala. Gereja ini melewati tiga masa yaitu, Masa Pendudukan Belanda, Masa Pendudukan Jepang dan Masa Kemerdekaan yang mengalami berbagai situasi dan kondisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Fungsi Protestantsche Kerk in Nederlands Indie Tanjungkarang Tahun 1927-1950. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian historis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode kepustakaan, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis historis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 6 Fungsi Protestantsche Kerk in Nederlands Indie Tanjungkarang Tahun 1927-1950, antara lain fungsi religi, fungsi ekonomi dan kerohanian, fungsi pendidikan, fungsi sosial, fungsi kesaksian dan fungsi kerjasama. Kata Kunci: Fungsi, Gereja, Protestantsche Kerk in Nederlands Indie Protestantsche Kerk in Nederlands Indie Tanjungkarang was the first church established in Bandar Lampung by the Dutch colonial government for religious purposes. The construction of this church took quite a long time due to various obstacles. This church went through three periods, namely, the Dutch Occupation Period, the Japanese Occupation Period and the Independence Period which experienced various situations and conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the function of the Protestantsche Kerk in Nederlands Indie Tanjungkarang in 1927-1950. The method used in this research is historical research method. Data collection techniques used are library, documentation and interview methods. The data analysis technique used is historical analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are 6 functions of the Protestantsche Kerk in Nederlands Indie Tanjungkarang in 1927-1950, including religious functions, economic and spiritual functions, educational functions, social functions, testimony functions and cooperation functions.
