Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Mahasiswa memiliki kedudukan dan peranan penting dalam pelestarian kebudayaan daerah, Salah satu cara untuk mengoptimalisasikan peran mahasiswa dalam pelestarian kebudayaan dapat dilakukan dengan bergabung pada himpunan daerah. Himpunan yang dipilih pada penelitian ini adalah himpunan yang berasal dari Kabupaten Pesisir Barat yaitu Himpunan Mahasiswa dan Pemuda Pesisir Barat (HMPPB). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merepresentasikan makna slogan helauni kik bakhong pada mahasiswa rantau asal Pesisir Barat melalui foto kegiatan HMPPB. Fokus penelitian ini adalah kegiatan sosial dan budaya HMPPB yang dilaksanakan pada periode 2019-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan makna sifat, bentuk dan aturan yang berlaku pada foto kegiatan HMPPB serta kaitannya dengan kaidah moral, sosial, budaya dan agama. Slogan helauni kik bakhong sebagai sebuah kearifan lokal budaya Pesisir Barat memiliki arti indahnya jika bersama-sama yang mengartikan gotong royong. Sebagai sebuah kearifan lokal, sudah menjadi tanggung jawab masyarakat terutama pemuda sebagai generasi penerus bangsa untuk menjaganya dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, menjadikan nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya sebagai citra diri dan pedoman dalam berprilaku. Kata kunci : Slogan, Helauni Kik Bakhong, Gotong Royong Students have important positions and roles in the preservation of regional culture, one way to optimize the role of students in the preservation of culture can be done by joining the set of regions. The assembly chosen for this study is a set that comes from Pesisir Barat Regency, the set of Pesisir Barat students and youth (HMPPB). The study is intended to represent the meaning of the helauni kik bakhong slogan of Pesisir Barat Students and Youth Association through photos of the activities of HMPPB. Through images of HMPPB activities, this study attempts to represent the significance of the term Helauni Kik Bakhong to overseas students from Pesisir Barat. The social and cultural activities of HMPPB that will be carried out in the 2019-2020 term are the topic of this study. This study employs a descriptive qualitative technique based on analysis's Charles Sanders Peirce semiotic. The findings of this study provide light on the nature, form, and rules that govern images of HMPPB activities, as well as their relationship to moral, social, cultural, and religious norms. As a local wisdom of Pesisir Barat culture, the slogan Helauni Kik Bakhong has a lovely meaning if it symbolizes mutual assistance. It is the obligation of the community, particularly the youth as the nation's future generation, to preserve and use local wisdom in daily life, transforming the values contained in it into self-image and behavioral norms.
