ABSTRAK PERILAKU KAUM MUDA DALAM KONFLIK (STUDI KASUS DI KECAMATAN PADANG CERMIN KABUPATEN PESAWARAN) Oleh DEWI SRI LENI INDAH Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antar kaum muda dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang menjadi pemicu konflik serta untuk mengetahui upaya apa saja yang dilakukan kaum muda untuk menyelesaikan konflik yang terjadi antara mereka. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu hubungan antar kaum muda kurang berjalan dengan baik dikarenakan perilakunya yang sering melanggar norma, baik norma kesopanan, norma agama, norma kesusilaan, norma adat dan norma hukum. Didalam pergaulannya sehari-hari sering timbul perselisihan dan kesalah pahaman yang berdampak timbulnya konflik. Minum-minuman keras, serta faktor pendidikan dan ekonomi yang lemah dianggap sebagai pemicu utama timbulnya perselisihan. Selain itu faktor etnik dan keberpihakan aparat turut memicu timbulnya perselisihan yang ada. Untuk menyelesaikan perselisihan yang berdampak terhadap timbulnya konflik diharapkan kepada kaum muda untuk mampu mengendalikan emosinya, serta mangkin mendekatkan diri kepada tuhannya dan meningkatkan potensi yang ada didalam dirinya. Kepada pemerintah dan pihak-pihak yang terkait termasuk aparat keamanan, diharapkan mampu untuk bersikap tegas, tidak berpihak serta cepat dalam menanggulangi konflik yang ada diharapkan menjadi solusi terbaik untuk menjaga kestabilan kehidupan masyarakat yang dipimpinnya. Keberadaan tokoh adat yang memiliki posisi lebih tinggi dari sebuah kepemerintahan, seharusnya bisa memberikan solusi ketika ada permasalahan yang menyangkut etnis. Orang tua diharapkan mampu untuk mengawasi, memberikan contoh yang baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta berupaya untuk memahami bagian pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang dialami oleh kaum muda. This research aims to determine how the relationship between young people and to know what are the factors that trigger conflict and to know what is being done to resolve the conflict youth that occurred between them. The method used in this study is a qualitative case study approach. The result of this research is the relation among the youth doesn’t run well because of the attittudes that disobey the norm of culture and law. In daily interaction often leads to clashes and misunderstandings that will affect the conflict. Many of the factors that contributed to the conflict. The emotions of young people who are still unstable causing them easy to do perversity. Drinking, as well as educational and economic factors are weak regarded as a major trigger of the dispute. In addition, factors and alignments tribal officials also trigger the onset of an existing dispute. To resolve disputes that affect the conflict is expected to youth to be able to control his emotions, and to make them closer to god and increase the potential that exists within him. To the government and relevant parties, including the security forces, expected to be able to be firm, impartial and fast enough to overcome the conflict is expected to be the best solution to maintain the stability of people's lives they lead. The presence of traditional leaders who have a higher position than a government, should be able to provide a solution when there are problems related to ethnicity. Parents are expected to be able to supervise, provide a good example in everyday life and seeks to understand the part of growth and development experienced by young people. This research is hoped can improve of PKn’s materials of the character education currriculum for the 1st grade of SMA/MA, especially in Basic Competence of the similarity of citizen’s right without differenciating of religion, gender, culture and ethnic.
