Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh korupsi, demorasi dan daya saing global terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara ASEAN. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode analisis data panel untuk 7 negara ASEAN pada tahun 2014-2019. Negara yang diteliti adalah Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Filipina, Vietnam, Laos dan Kamboja. Variabel dependen yang yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan variabel independen yang digunakan adalah korupsi, demokrasi dan daya saing global. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa korupsi tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, demokrasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan daya saing global berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi selama periode tahun penelitian. Kata kunci : Korupsi, Demokrasi, Daya Saing Global dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of corruption, democracy and global competitiveness on economic growth in ASEAN countries. The analytical method used in this study is the panel data analysis method for 7 ASEAN countries in 2014 until 2019. The countries studied were Indonesian, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The dependent variable used in this study is economic growth, while the independent variables used are corruption, democracy and global competitiveness. The results of this study indicate that corruption has no effect on economic growth, democracy has a negative and significant effect on economic growth and global competitiveness has a positive and significant effect on economic growth during the study year period.
