Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya higher order thinking skills peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Triharjo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran treffinger terhadap higher order thinking skills peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dan desain penelitian pre-experimental design. Populasi berjumlah 115 dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu 26 peserta didik kelas VA. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran treffinger terhadap higher order thinking skills peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Triharjo yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (p=<0,05).
