ABSTRAK PENGARUH METODE DEBAT AKTIF TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR TEMATIK PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR Oleh IRMA MERLINDA Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas V yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya penggunaan metode belajar yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode debat aktif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen (quasi-experimental) dan data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Rajabasa Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 35 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar tes dan studi dokumen. Hasil teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus uji t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode debat aktif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar dengan persentase sebesar 79%. Kata kunci: hasil belajar tematik, metode debat aktif ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF ACTIVE DEBATE METHOD ON THE THEMATIC LEARNING OUTCOMES OF FIFTH GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS By IRMA MERLINDA The problem of this research is the low thematic learning outcomes of the fifthgrade students caused by the lack of use of a suitable learning method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the active debate method on the learning outcomes of the fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method used is experimental (quasi-experimental) and the data used is quantitative. The research design used is a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all the fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Rajabasa Bandar Lampung, totaling 35 students. The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling technique. Data collection using test sheets and document study. The results of the data analysis technique using the t-test formula showed that there was an effect of the active debate method on the learning outcomes of the fifth-grade elementary school students with a percentage of 79%.
