Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang memengaruhi permintaan ekspor batu bara Indonesia ke 8 (delapan) negara tujuan utama. Variabel dependent yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah volume ekspor batu bara dan variable independent yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah GDP perkapita negara tujuan, nilai tukar riil, jarak ekonomi dan harga ekspor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis data panel dengan penggunaan Gravity Model yang memasukan pengaruh jarak ekonomi sebagai variable analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara GDP perkapita negara tujuan dengan volume ekspor batu bara Indonesia, nilai tukar riil berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor batu bara Indonesia, sementara jarak ekonomi memiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap volume ekspor batu bara Indonesia. Untuk harga ekspor batu bara memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor batu bara Indonesia. Dari hasil hasil Cross Section Fixed Effect menunjukkan bahwa negara yang memiliki nilai effect tertinggi adalah Malaysia dan negara dengan nilai effect terendah adalah China. Kata kunci : Ekspor Batu Bara, Volume Ekspor, GDP Perkapita, Nilai Tukar, Harga Ekspor, Jarak Ekonomi, Data Panel, Gravity Model The purpose of this research is to see what factors influence the demand for Indonesian coal exports to the 8 (eight) main destination countries. The dependent variable used in this study is the volume of coal exports and the independent variables used in this study are the GDP per capita of the destination country, the real exchange rate, economic distance and export prices. This study uses panel data analysis method with the use of the Gravity Model which includes the effect of economic distance as an analysis variable. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the GDP per capita of the destination country and the volume of Indonesian coal exports, the real exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on the volume of Indonesian coal exports, while economic distance has a negative and insignificant effect on the volume of coal exports. Indonesian coals. The price of coal exports has a negative and significant impact on the volume of Indonesia's coal exports. The results of the Cross Section Fixed Effect show that the country with the highest effect value is Malaysia and the country with the lowest effect value is China.
