Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Pemberitaan bunuh diri oleh media dapat mempengaruhi stigma masyarakat. Oleh karena itu dalam penulisan pemberitaan harus dengan hati – hati. Media online Kompas.com dan JPNN.com regional Lampung memandang peristiwa bunuh diri menjadi sebuah peristiwa yang penting untuk diberitakan tetapi juga harus dilihat dari kualitas isi berita oleh kedua media tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembingkaian Kompas.com dan JPNN.com dalam menuliskan pemberitaan bunuh diri di kedua media online. Peneliti akan melihat bagaimana pembingkaian pemberitaan bunuh diri di kedua media daring yaitu Kompas.com dan JPNN.com dalam membingkai peristiwa bunuh diri. Sebanyak 22 berita dengan 5 kasus yang sama sepanjang tahun 2013-2021 peneliti menganalisis dan melihat bagaimana peristiwa bunuh diri dibingkai oleh kedua media tersebut oleh empat elemen perangkat framing yakni struktur sintaksis, struktur skrip, struktur tematik dan struktur retoris dan membedah dengan teori kontruksi realitas sosial. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompas.com dan JPNN.com masih membingkai dan mengontruksi peristiwa bunuh diri sebagai isu kriminal dan bukan sebuah isu kesehatan yang seharusnya fokus terhadap bunuh diri itu sendiri bukan menuliskan secara detail latar belakang korban dan melanggar sejumlah etika aturan dari Pedoman Pemberitaan Terkait Tindak dan Upaya Bunuh Diri oleh Dewan Pers. Kata kunci : bunuh diri, framing, Kompas.com, Jpnn.com News coverage of suicide by the media can affect the stigma of society. Therefore, in writing the news must be careful - carefully. Online media such as Kompas.com and JPNN.com Lampung regional view. The online media Kompas.com and the Lampung regional JPNN.com view the suicide incident as an important event to be reported on but must also be seen from the quality of the news content by the two media. This study aims to determine the framing of Kompas.com and JPNN.com in writing reports of suicide in online media. A total of 22 news stories with 5 similar cases during 2013-2021 researchers analyzed and saw how suicide events were framed by the two media by four elements of framing devices, namely syntactic structure, script structure, thematic structure and rhetorical structure and use theory of the construction of social reality. The conclusion show that Kompas.com and JPNN.com in framing and constructing suicide as a criminal issue and not a health issue, they should focus on suicide itself instead of writing in detail the background of the victim and this news violates a number of rules from the News Guidelines.
