Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

This study aims to describe the impact admission of new students to the zoning system on students achievement through students motivation in geography subject at X grad’s 1 Kotagajah Public Senior High School Academic Year 2018/2019. This study was conducted by using quantitative approach with casual design. The population ini this study is X grade students of 1 Kotagajah Senior High School who are accepted through the zoning system were 113 students. The samples of this study were 33 students. Data were collected by questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was done by path analysis. The results of this study showed that: (1) The zoning system PPDB has an effect on student achievement with a Pyx path coefficient value of 0.285 or 28.5%, (2) PPDB has an effect on student learning motivation with a correlation coefficient value of 0.401 or 40%, and (3) Student learning motivation has an effect on learning achievement with the Pyz path coefficient value of 0.284 or 28.4%. Keywords : motivation, achievement, zoning system Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB) sistem zonasi melalui motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Kotagajah Lampung Tengah Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kasual. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kotagajah yang diterima melalu sistem zonasi sebanyak 113 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 33 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : (1) PPDB sistem zonasi berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai koefisien jalur Pyx sebesar 0,285 atau 28,5%, (2) PPDB berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,401 atau 40%, dan (3) Motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar dengan nilai koefisien jalur Pyz sebesar 0,284 atau 28,4%. Kata kunci : motivasi, prestasi, sistem zonasi.
