Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Keberadaan jenis burung di alam tergantung pada kondisi lingkungannya. Burung berperan penting dalam membantu regenerasi hutan secara alami seperti penyebar biji, penyerbuk bunga dan pengontrol hama. Dikarenakan peranan penting tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan analisis hubungan keanekaragaman tumbuhan dengan jenis-jenis burung di Kebun Raya Liwa, sehingga dapat membuat rekomendasi untuk mengoptimalkan tumbuhan sebagai habitat yang mendukung kelangsungan hidup burung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September- Desember 2021 di Kebun Raya Liwa, dengan menempatkan tiga lokasi, lokasi A (taman Araceae), lokasi B (area sekitar kantor) dan lokasi C (playground). Pengambilan data tumbuhan berdasarkan habitusnya, yakni pohon, perdu dan semak. Kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pengamatan burung dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode titik hitung. Parameter yang diamati yaitu hubungan keanekaragaman tumbuhan dan jenis burung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan sebanyak 25 jenis habitus pohon, 8 jenis habitus perdu dan 5 jenis habitus semak. Nilai index keanekaragaman menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keanekaragaman spesies tumbuhan yang berada di Kebun Raya Liwa termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Pada ketiga lokasi pengamatan memiliki indeks kemerataan dengan jumlah individu setiap jenis relatif sama. Kemudian hasil penelitian jumlah jenis burung di Kebun Raya Liwa, terdapat 27 spesies burung dengan total 908 individu yang berasal dari 17 famili. Selain itu, ada korelasi yang sedang antara nilai keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan dengan jumlah jenis burung di Kebun Raya Liwa. Hasil penelitian ini juga memberikan beberapa rekomendasi jenis tumbuhan untuk mengoptimalkan keberadaan tumbuhan sebagai habitat burung. Kata kunci: Burung, fungsi ekologis, keanekaragaman tumbuhan, Kebun Raya Liwa. The existence of bird species in nature depends on environmental conditions. Birds play an important role in helping natural forest regeneration such as seed dispersers, flower pollinators and pest control. Due to this important role, it is necessary to analyze relation between plant diversity and bird species in Liwa Botanical Garden, so that recommendations can optimize plants as habitats for support bird survival. This research was carried out in September-December 2021 at Liwa Botanical Garden, by placing three location, location A (Araceae park area), location B (Around office area) and location C (playground). Data collection of plants based on their habitus. Habitus of trees, shrubs and bushs. Then analyzed descriptive qualitative. Bird observations were carried out using point count method. The parameters observed were relation between plant diversity and bird species. The results showed there were 25 species of tree habitus, 8 species of shrub habitus and 5 types bush habitus. The diversity index value indicates that level of plant species diversity in Liwa Botanical Garden in medium category. The three observation location have an evenness index with amount individuals of each species being relative same. Then the results of research amount of bird species in Liwa Botanical Gardens, there are 27 bird species with total of 908 individu from 17 families. There is a medium correlation between value of plant species diversity and number of bird species in Liwa Botanical Garden. The results of this study also provide several recommendations for plant species to optimize the presence of plants as bird habitats. .
