Pendahuluan: Luka bakar adalah rusak atau hilangnya jaringan yang disebabkan oleh sumber panas dan dapat dibagi menjadi tiga derajat yakni derajat I,IIA,IIB,dan III. Untuk membantu proses penyembuhan luka bakar dapat diberikan agen antiinflamasi, antioksidan, salah satunya adalah penggunaan daun bakau. Salah satu cara alternatif yang dilakukan dengan membuatnya menjadi ekstrak etanol daun bakau. Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat percepatan penyembuhan luka bakar dengan pemberian ekstrak daun bakau (Rhizopora apiculata) Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian true experimental dengan post-test only control group design yang terbagi atas 5 kelompok : K normal :tanpa perlakuan, K+:bioplacenton, P1:ekstrak 20%, P2:ekstrak 30%, P3:ekstrak 40%. Luka bakar diamati selama 21 hari, dinilai dengan melihat rata-rata penyusutan luka, lama penyembuhan luka, dan skor instrumen Bates-Jensen. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik didapatkan adanya efek pemberian ekstrak daun bakau (Rhizopora apiculata) terhadap penyembuhan luka bakar pada tikus putih berupa penyusutan luas luka bakar (P Value: 0.001). Terdapat efek pemberian ekstrak daun bakau (Rhizopora apiculata) terhadap lama penyembuhan luka bakar pada tikus putih (P Value: 0.001). Terdapat dosis yang efektif pada ekstrak daun bakau (Rhizopora apiculata) dengan konsentrasi 40% dan memiliki tingkat efektivitas yang lebih baik dalam penyembuhan luka bakar dibandingkan dengan obat standar bioplacenton. Kesimpulan: Terdapat efek yang baik pada pemberian ekstrak daun bakau (Rhizophora apiculata) terhadap penyembuhan luka bakar tikus putih jantan (Rattus novergicus) galur Sprague dawley terutama dengan konsentrasi eksrak 40% Kata Kunci: Luka bakar; ekstrak Rhizophora apiculata Background: Burn wound is a damage or loss of tissues caused by contant with heat source and can be classified into three degree there are I, IIA, IIB, and III degree. To help the healing process of burns, anti-inflamatory, antioxidant agents can be given, such as the application of mangroves leaves. One of the alternative ways is make mangrove leaf extract. This study is aimed to know the accelerated healing of burns by apply mangrove leaf extract (Rhizopora apiculata) Methods: This study was a true experimental study with post-test only control group design that grouped into five: K normal:without treatment, K+:bioplacenton, P1: extract 20%, P2: extract 30%, P3: extract 40%. Burn wounds were observed for 21 days, assessed with average wound shortening, wound healing time, and Bates-Jensen wound assament tool. Result: Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that there was an effect of giving mangrove leaf extract (Rhizopora apiculata) on the healing of burns in white rats in the form of a reduction in the area of the burn (P Value: 0.001). There is an effect of giving mangrove leaf extract (Rhizopora apiculata) on the healing time of burns in white rats (P Value: 0.001). There is an effective dose of mangrove leaf extract (Rhizopora apiculata) with a concentration of 40% for healing burns, and has a better level of effectiveness in healing burns compared to the standard drug bioplacenton. Conclusion: There is a good effect on the administration of mangrove leaf extract (Rhizophora apiculata) on the healing of burns of male white rats (Rattus novergicus) Sprague Dawley strain, especially with extract concentration of 40%.
