Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out English Foreign Language Learning students' motivation preferences at Universitas Lampung and to find out the dominant type whether integrative or instrumental motivation. The sample of this research was the fourth-semester students of the English Department Universitas Lampung, which consisted of 42 students. This is a survey study by distributing a questionnaire adopted from Attitude Motivation Test Battery (AMTB) and completed by interview. The data was analyzed by using quantitative and descriptive statistics. Based on the result, students’ motivation in EFL learning integrative motivation (3.88) is higher than instrumental motivation (3.32). Thus, it can be concluded that integrative motivation has dominant in EFL learning students' motivation.
