Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan ekonomi dan pertumbuhan penduduk di kota Metro yang sangat pesat saat ini, dimungkinkan akan mengakibatkan ketidakseimbangan pada penggunaan lahan. Dari sisi lain untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat, diperlukan peran pemerintah untuk memperhatikan tata kota yang berkelanjutan agar kualitas hidup masyarakat tetap terjaga dan ada keseimbangan antara lingkungan alami dan buatan. Maka dibutuhkan sistem yang mampu memonitoring perkembangan penggunaan lahan dengan memanfaatkan analisis Sistem Informasi Geografis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan lahan terbangun di Kota Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan transformasi NDBI (Normalized Difference Built-Up Index) untuk mendeteksi lahan terbangun yang ada di kota Metro. Tingkat perkembangan yang terjadi pada lahan terbangun di kota Metro mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2018 sampai tahun 2022 dari 15,24 Km² menjadi 34,05 Km². Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada tahun 2018 luas lahan terbangun pada kota metro sebesar 22,97% dari luas wilayah , dan pada tahun 2022 meningkat menjadi 51,32% dari luas wilayah Kota Metro. Kata Kunci : Lahan Terbangun, Normalized Difference Built-Up Index ( NDBI ), Landsat 8 ABSTRACT STUDY OF DEVELOPED LAND IN METRO CITY By YOGGA ANGGORO DS Economic development and population growth in Metro city which is very rapid at this time, it is possible that it will result in an imbalance in land use. From the other side, to meet the needs of the community, the government's role is needed to pay attention to sustainable urban planning so that the quality of life of the community is maintained and there is a balance between the natural and artificial environment. So we need a system that is able to monitor the development of land use by utilizing the analysis of Geographic Information Systems. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of built-up land in Metro City. This study uses the NDBI (Normalized Difference Built-Up Index) transformation to detect built-up areas in Metro cities. The level of development that occurs on built-up land in Metro city has increased from 2018 to 2022 from 15.24 Km² to 34.05 Km². The results of this study show that in 2018 the built-up area of the metro city is 22.97% of the area, and in 2022 it will increase to 51.32% of the area of the metro city.
