In 2020 the Golkar Party nominated Rycko Menoza SZP as a candidate for mayor of Bandar Lampung City paired with Johan Sulaiman as deputy mayor. AMPI Bandar Lampung City participated in winning the Rycko – Jos. The lack of participation of AMPI in the campaign to win Rycko-Jos raises a question mark, why the city of Bandar Lampung's AMPI participation was minimal in winning Rycko-Jos. This study aims to analyze the lack of participation of AMPI in Bandar Lampung City in winning the Rycko-Jos. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through field observations, structured interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the lack of participation of AMPI in Bandar Lampung City in the election for mayor of Bandar Lampung in 2020 has experienced problems such as a lack of loyalty between members in AMPI, a pragmatic attitude among AMPI members and in the division of main tasks and functions that have not been explained. Keywords: Participation, Rycko – Jos, Pilwalkot. Pada Tahun 2020 Partai Golkar mengusung Rycko Menoza SZP sebagai calon walikota Kota Bandar Lampung berpasangan dengan Johan Sulaiman sebagai wakil walikota. AMPI Kota Bandar Lampung berpartisipasi dalam pemenangan Rycko – Jos. Minimnya partisipasi AMPI dalam kampanye pemenangan RyckoJos menjadikan sebuah tanda tanya, mengapa partisipasi AMPI Kota Bandar Lampung minim saat pemenangan Rycko-Jos. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minimnya partisipasi AMPI Kota Bandar Lampung dalam pemenangan Rycko-Jos. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minimnya partisipasi AMPI Kota Bandar Lampung dalam pemilihan walikota Bandar Lampung Tahun 2020 terdapat permasalahan yang dialami seperti kurangnya sikap loyal antara anggota dalam AMPI, sikap pragmatis dalam diri anggota AMPI dan dalam pembagian tugas pokok serta fungsi yang belum terjelaskan.
