Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
This research aims to determine the significant improvement in students’ writing achievement after the students are taught through the dictation method and the aspect of writing that improves the most and the least after implementing of the dictation method. This research used quantitative research, and it was conducted at the first grade of MA Al-Fatah Lampung, in the academic year 2022/2023. The sample of this research was X IPA 3, which consisted of 32 students. This research used a writing test as the instrument. Pretest and posttest were used to collect the data, then analyzed using Paired Sample T-test. The result showed a significant improvement of students’ writing achievement after implementing the dictation method. It was proven by seeing the improvement of the mean of students’ pretest and posttest scores. The score improved from 54.25 to 64.84. In addition, the value of the two-tailed significance was 0.000 < 0.05. It indicates that the H0 is rejected or H1 is accepted. Moreover, all the aspects of writing were improved. The aspect that improved the most was content, while the least was mechanics. Keywords: Dictation method, Teaching, Writing.
