Watery roseapple Syzygium aqueum (Burm. f.) Alston is a member of the family (Myrtaceae) is classified as a plant that is easy to cultivate because it is easy to adapt and can grow in various types of soil. One alternative to providing vegetative seeds is by air layering. The first experiment was carried out using a randomized block design (RBD) with 4 replications, the treatments were arranged factorial (2x4) each treatment was repeated 3 times. Observations were made to see the variable number of roots, root length, number of shoots, and shoot length. In the second experiment, it was carried out using a completely randomized design (CRD), each treatment was repeated 3 times. Observations were made to see the variable number of roots, root length, time of emergence of roots, number of shoots, and shoot length. Data analysis was carried out using the Least Significant Difference Test at 5% level. The results of first experiment research showed watery roseapple variety has an effect on the average number of roots in Madu Deli Hijau air layering, which is greater than the Citra Merah. The best rooting of watery roseapple air layering was obtained in the 2000 ppm IAA treatment followed by NAA and the lowest was IBA. This was shown at 10 MSP without auxin only 50% took root while with NAA auxin application, IBA and IAA are all 100% rooted. The mean number of roots, root length, fresh root weight, root dry weight in air layering were significantly higher than the control. The results of the second experiment Varieties of watery roseapple affected the application of cuttings. The number of primary roots, root length, number of shoots and shoot length on Kancing Putih cuttings was more than Madu Deli Hijau and Citra Merah. Auxin (IBA 1000 pmm, + NAA 1000 ppm) increased the rooting of Kancing Putih and Madu Deli Hijau as indicated by the variable number of roots, root length, number of shoots and shoot length which was higher than the control. Jambu air (Syzygium aqueum) merupakan anggota famili (Myrtaceae) tergolong tanaman yang mudah di budidayakan karena mudah beradaptasi serta dapat tumbuh pada berbagai macam jenis tanah. Salah satu alternatif penyediaan benih vegetatif yaitu dengan cara cangkok. Percobaan pertama dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 ulangan, perlakuan disusun seacra faktorial (2x4) setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Pengamatan dilakukan untuk melihat variabel jumlah akar, panjang akar, jumlah tunas, dan panjang tunas. Pada percobaan kedua dilakukan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Pengamatan dilakukan untuk melihat variabel jumlah akar, panjang akar, waktu muncul akar, jumlah tunas, dan panjang tunas Dilakukan analisis data dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian percobaan pertama menunjukkan bahwa Varietas jambu air berpengaruh pada pengakaran. Kemampuan berakar pada cangkok jambu air dipengaruhi oleh jenis auksin yang diaplikasikan. Pengakaran cangkok jambu air yang terbaik didapat pada perlakuan 2000 ppm IAA disusul oleh NAA dan yang terendah adalah IBA.Hal ini ditunjukkan pada 10 MSP tanpa pemberian auksin hanya 50% yang berakar sedangkan dengan aplikasi auksin NAA, IBA dan IAA semuanya berakar 100%. Rata-rata jumlah akar, panjang akar, bobot segar akar, bobot kering akar pada cangkok secara signifikan lebih tinggi dari pada kontrol. Hasil percobaan kedua Varietas jambu air berpengaruh terhadap pengakaan setek jambu air. Jumlah akar primer, panjang akar, jumlah tunas dan panjang tunas pada setek jambu Kancing Putih lebih banyak dari Madu Deli Hijau dan Citra Merah. Auksin (IBA 1000 pmm, + NAA 1000 ppm) meningkatkan pengakaran jambu Kancing Putih dan Madu Deli Hijau yang ditunjukan oleh variabel jumlah akar, panjang akar, jumlah tunas dan panjang tunas lebih tinggi dibanding kontrol.
