ABSTRAK PENGARUH INDEKS PEMBANGUNAN MANUSIA DAN JUMLAH PENGANGGURAN TERHADAP JUMLAH PENDUDUK MISKIN DI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN TAHUN 2002-2012 Oleh TRIYA PUTRI GUNAYATI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), jumlah pengangguran (JP) terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin (JPM) di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder runtun waktu (time series) selama periode 2002-2012. Pengujian hipotesis digunakan dengan pendekatan uji asumsi klasik, hipotesis dan Ordinary Least Square (OLS) dengan menggunakan Eviews 4.1 Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel Indeks Pembangunan Manusia tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan . Sedangkan variabel jumlah pengangguran berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Dari penelitian ini selain memberikan hasil estimasi juga dapat menyimpulkan beberapa langkah kongkrit yang harus dilakukan pemerintah berkaitan dengan peningkatan pembangunan manusia. Untuk menunjang kualitas sumber daya manusia terutama dalam aspek kesehatan, pendidikan, dan pendapatan masyarakat yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci : Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, Jumlah Pengangguran, Jumlah Penduduk Miskin. ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX AND THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE TO THE NUMBER OF POOR PEOPLE IN SOUTH LAMPUNG 2002-2012 By : TRIYA PUTRI GUNAYATI This research was meant to find out the influence of human development index ( IPM ), the unemployment rate ( JP ) against number of poor people ( JPM ) in the county of south lampung. The data used is data secondary runtun time ( time series ) during a period of 2002-2012. The testing of hypotheses used with the approach of the classical, the assumption the hypothesis and ordinary least square ( ols ) by using eviews 4.1 The results of the analysis of the research this really shows you that the variable human development index do not affect in significantly to the number of poor in lampung southern district. While the unemployment rate variables influence significantly to the number of poor in lampung southern district. Besides giving the results of this research also can conclude an estimation of some concrete steps that must be conducted by government relating to increase human development to support the quality of human resources especially in the aspect of health education and better community income Keywords : Human Development Index, Unemployment Rate , Number of Poor People.
