Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis Learning Cycle 5E yang praktis serta efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan merujuk pada teori R&D Borg and Gall. Penelitian dilakukan bagi peserta didik kelas V SDN 6 Bandarjaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar berbasis learning cycle 5E yang dikembangkan praktis berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 80,7%, dan hasil angket respon pendidik sebesar 77,8% serta hasil respon peserta didik sebesar 78%. Efektifitas produk dilihat dari hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 0,51 kategori sedang dan uji Paired sample ttest memperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000<0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar berbasis Learning Cycle 5E efektif dalam meningkatkan berpikir kritis indikator interprestasi, analisis, evaluasi dan inferensi. Kata kunci: Modul Ajar, Berpikir Kritis, Learning Cycle 5E This study aims to develop teaching modules based on Learning Cycle 5E that are practical and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills elementary school students. The type of research and development used refers to Borg and Gall's R&D theory. The research was conducted for fifth grade students at SDN 6 Bandarjaya. The results of this study indicate that the teaching module based on the 5E learning cycle which was developed practically based on the results of expert validation obtained an overall average of 80.7%, and the results of the teacher's response questionnaire were 77.8% and the results of student responses were 78%. Product effectiveness can be seen from the results of the N-Gain test of 0.51 in the medium category and the Paired sample t-test obtained a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 which indicates that Learning Cycle 5E-based teaching modules are effective in increasing critical thinking indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation and inference.
