Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Metro Pusat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan desain two group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan populasi sebanyak 215 peserta didik dengan sampel sebanyak 61 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan non tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan memperoleh Fhitung = 4,98 ≥ Ftabel = 4,20 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Metro Pusat. This study aims to determine the effect of the Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) model on critical thinking skills in mathematics subjects for fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Metro Pusat. The method used in this research is quasi experimental with two group pretest-posttest design. This study used purposive sampling technique and a population of 215 students with a sample of 61 students. The instruments used in this study were test and non test. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression and obtained Fcount = 4,98 ≥ Ftable = 4,20 then H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. The result showed that there was an effect of the Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) model on the critical thinking ability of mathematics class fifth students of SD Muhammadiyah Metro Pusat.
