Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurang maksimalnya peran orang tua sebagai pendidik dan teman sebaya dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin dan toleransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis pengaruh peran orang tua sebagai pendidik terhadap karakter disiplin dan toleransi peserta didik kelas V, 2) menganalisis pengaruh peran teman sebaya terhadap karakter disiplin dan toleransi peserta didik kelas V, dan 3) menganalisis pengaruh peran orang tua sebagai pendidik dan teman sebaya secara bersama-sama terhadap karakter disiplin dan toleransi peserta didik kelas V. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 206 peserta didik, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik proportionate startified random sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel 137 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan 1) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan peran orang tua sebagai pendidik terhadap karakter disiplin dan toleransi peserta didik kelas V, 2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan peran teman sebaya terhadap karakter disiplin dan toleransi peserta didik kelas V, dan 3) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan peran orang tua sebagai pendidik dan teman sebaya secara bersama-sama terhadap karakter disiplin dan toleransi peserta didik kelas V. Variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap karakter disiplin dan toleransi adalah teman sebaya. Kata kunci : karakter disiplin dan toleransi, peran orang tua sebagai pendidik, teman sebaya. The problem of this research is the lack of optimal role of parents as educators and peers in the formation of the character of discipline and tolerance. This study aims to 1) analyze the effect of the role of parents as educators on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students, 2) analyze the influence of the role of peers on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students, and 3) analyze the influence of the role of parents as educators and peers together on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students. This type of research is quantitative research with ex post facto methods. The population in this study amounted to 206 students, the sample was determined by proportionate startified random sampling technique, in order to obtain a sample of 137 students. Data collection technique with a questionnaire. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show 1) there is a positive and significant effect of the role of parents as educators on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students, 2) there is a positive and significant influence of the role of peers on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students, and 3) there is a positive and significant influence on the role of parents as educators and peers together on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students. The most influential variable on the character of discipline and tolerance is peers. Keyword : character of discipline and tolerance, the role parents as educators, peers.
