Abstract

The research was conducted to find out whether there is any significant improvement on students‟ reading comprehension of analytical exposition text after the use selection and organization strategies. This research is quantitative research and used one group pretestposttest design as the method. The subject of this research is 36 students at second grade of SMAN 1 Kebun Tebu in class XIIIS 3. Instruments that used in this research were reading test.The data were collect through paired samplet-test SPSS 16.The results of the research , there is significant improvement on student‟s reading comprehension of analytical exposition text after the use selection and organization strategies. The results showed that the students‟ mean score on the pre-test was 61.22 and the mean score on the post-test was 70.67.
