Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Pada penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui realitas sawer gift TikTok sebagai medium interaksi masyarakat digital. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode penulisan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penulis menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik George Herbert Mead sebagai landasan teori pada penulisan ini. Hasil penulisan menunjukan bahwa interaksi yang terjadi antara live streamer dengan penonton didasari karena adanya faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi seperti faktor simpati, imitasi, dan sugesti. Kemudian motivasi kreator melakukan live streaming yaitu untuk menyapa penonton, keinginan untuk menambah penghasilan, dan memperluas jaringan pertemanan. Sedangkan motivasi penonton memberikan gift kepada live streamer, yakni: apresiasi, hiburan dan kepuasan, relasi, eksistensi diri, donasi/sumbangan, dan kebutuhan seksualitas. Dampak positif adanya gift TikTok dirasakan oleh live streamer dan juga penonton dalam hal aspek ekonomi dan aspek sosial, sedangkan dampak negatif yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat yaitu adanya konten-konten yang melanggar asusila. Kata kunci: realitas, gift, live streamer At this writing the aim is to find out the reality of sawer gift TikTok as a medium for digital community interaction. This writing uses a qualitative writing method with a descriptive approach. Data collection is done by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The author uses George Herbert Mead's symbolic interaction theory as the theoretical basis for this writing. The results of the writing show that the interaction that occurs between the live streamer and the audience is based on background factors such as sympathy, imitation, and suggestion. Then the creator's motivation for live streaming is to greet the audience, the desire to increase income, and expand the network of friends. While the motivation of the audience to give gifts to live streamers, namely: appreciation, entertainment and satisfaction, relationships, self -existence, donations/contributions, and sexuality needs. The positive impact of the TikTok gift is felt by live streamers and also viewers in terms of economic and social aspects, while the negative impact felt by the community is the presence of content that violates immorality.
