Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis kelayakan finansial ternak ayam broiler model kandang close house, (2) menganalisis kelayakan finansial ternak ayam broiler model kandang open house, (3) mengkaji pengusahaan kandang close house dan open house, mana yang lebih menguntungkan, (4) dan menyusun strategi pengembangan usaha ternak ayam broiler. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer tahun 2022 dengan jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunkan yaitu analisis kelayakan finansial dengan menggunakan lima kriteria (Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Gross B/C, Net B/C, dan Payback Periode (PP), dan menggunakan metode SWOT serta QSPM. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa (1) usaha pembesaran ayam broiler dengan model kandang close house layak untuk dijalankan, (2) usaha pembesaran ayam broiler dengan model kandang open house layak untuk dijalankan, (3) penggunaan model kandang close house lebih layak dan menguntungkan jika dibandingkan dengan model kandang open house, dengan nilai keuntungan yang lebih besar yaitu Rp 604.870. 660 jika dibandingkan dengan keuntungan kandang open house yaitu hanya sebesar Rp 148.195.479, dan (4) strategi pengembangan usaha ternak pembesaran ayam broiler adalah pemanfaatan lokasi usaha dengan sistem kandang modern untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar ayam broiler yang tinggi, pemanfaatan pasokan bahan baku dari pola kemitraan yang dijalin untuk memenuhi tingginya konsumsi ayam broiler, peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak melalui penggunaan teknologi modern dalam usaha pembesaran ayam broiler, dan penguatan permodalan peternak melalui kerjasama dengan pihak lain untuk menjaga kualitas DOC. Kata kunci : Ayam broiler, kelayakan finansial, strategi pengembangan, QSPM. This study aims to (1) analyze the financial feasibility of broiler chickens with the close house model, (2) analyze the financial feasibility of broiler chickens with the open house model, (3) examine the operation of close house and open house cages, which one is more profitable, ( 4) and develop a strategy for broiler farming business development. The data used is primary data for 2022 with a quantitative descriptive type of research. The method used is financial feasibility analysis using five criteria (Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Gross B/C, Net B/C, and Payback Period (PP), and using the SWOT and QSPM methods The results of the analysis show that (1) the broiler rearing business using the close house model is feasible, (2) the broiler rearing business using the open house model is feasible, (3) the use of the close house model is more feasible and profitable if compared to the open house cage model, with a greater profit value of IDR 604,870,660 when compared to the open house cage profit which is only Rp. 148,195,479, and (4) the strategy for developing a broiler rearing livestock business is the utilization of a business location with a modern cage system to meet the high market demand for broiler chickens, utilization of raw material supply from a partnership pattern that is woven to meet the high consumption of broiler chickens, increased the knowledge and skills of breeders through the use of modern technology in the business of raising broiler chickens, and strengthening farmer capital through collaboration with other parties to maintain the quality of DOC.
