Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen (quasi experimental) dengan desain penelitian pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini 60 peserta didik dengan sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V A dan V B yang berjumlah 60 peserta didik. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu dengan jumlah 60 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan non tes berupa dokumentasi serta pretest posttest. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur. Dibuktikan dengan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 24,85 dan Ftabel = 4,18 sehingga Fhitung ≥ Ftabel maka dinyatakan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dan memiliki efektivitas N- Gain sebesar 0,33 dengan kategori sedang. Kata Kunci : discovery learning, hasil belajar IPA. The problem of this research is the low science learning result in Vth class of elementary school. This study aims to analyze and describe the effect of the discovery learning model on the science learning result of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur. The method in this study was a quasi-experimental research design with pretest posttest a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was 60 students the sample in this study were students in class VA and VB, totaling 60 students. The determination of the research sample used a purposive sampling technique, namely taking samples with certain considerations with a total of 60 students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and non-tests in the form of documentation and observation. The data analysis used is a simple linear regression test. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the discovery learning model on the science learning outcomes Vth class at SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur. Evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing using simple linear regression obtained Fcount of 24.85 and Ftable = 4.18 so that Fcount ≥ Ftable then it is stated that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted and has an effectiveness N-Gain of 0,33 in the medium category Keywords: discovery learning, science learning result
