Abstrak

Abstrak Terbatasnya daratan pada bumi menimbulkan beberapa masalah yang sedang dan/atau akan dihadapi oleh penduduk dewasa ini. Salah satu dari masalah tersebut adalah kurangnya lahan untuk jalur transportasi darat. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan adalah underground track. Underground track adalah jalur bawah tanah yang dibangun dengan kedalaman tertentu dengan puncaknya yang berjarak x meter dari permukaan tanah. Model underground track dari Gedung Observatorium ke Gedung Matematika dirancang dengan kedalaman 2,5 meter, lebar 1,5 meter, dan sepanjang 2700 meter serta dengan puncak underground track yang berjarak 4 meter dari ruas jalan yang telah ada (terhadap permukaan tanah). Underground track yang dibangun di bawah ruas jalan umum beraspal dirasa dapat menjadikan pembuatan track lebih efisien sebagai alternatif solusi kemacetan lalu lintas. Jarak antara puncak underground track dan permukaan tanah sangat bergantung pada kualitas dan ketebalan dinding track serta jenis tanah yang berada di atas underground track. Abstract Nowadays, people have to face many problems that caused by finited land. Inadequate land for road track is one of that problem. Underground track is one of solution of this. Underground track is a track under the ground that built with certain depth, and distance between its top and topsoil is about x m. The underground track model from Gedung Observatorium to Gedung Matematika designated to be built with 2.5 m depth, 1.5 m width, 2,700 m length, and 4 m gapping from the top soil (that used as road track). Underground track that built under the road track is way to be more efficient and as an alternative solution to traffic jam . Distance between top of underground track and top soil really depend on the quality and thickness of the type of soil above. Keywords: Mathematical
