Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perbedaan infestasi dan mengetahui jenis cacing saluran pencernaan pada kambing Jawarandu jantan dan betina di Kecamatan Adiluwih Kabupaten Pringsewu. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Januari sampai Februari 2023 dengan menggunakan metode survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat infestasi (P<0,075) pada kambing Jawarandu jantan dan betina dengan tingkat infestasi pada jantan 53,33% lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan betina 30,00%. Jenis cacing yang ditemukan pada kambing Jawarandu yang dipelihara berasal dari kelas nematoda pada jenis kelamin jantan yaitu Haemonchus sp.,Trichuris sp., Toxocara sp., Strongyloides sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Trichuris sp., Toxocara sp., dan kelas trematoda yaitu terdapat cacing Paramphistomum sp., dan Fasciola sp. Pada betina jenis cacing kelas nematoda yang menginfestasi yaitu Trichuris sp., Toxocara sp., dan kelas trematoda yaitu Paramphistomum sp., dan Fasciola sp. Kata kunci: kambing, cacing saluran pencernaan, jenis kelamin. The purpose of this study was to observed the differences in infestation and to determine the type of digestive tract worms in male and female Jawarandu goats in Adiluwih District, Pringsewu Regency. This research was conducted from January to February 2023 using a survey method. The results showed that there were differences in the level of infestation (P<0.075) in male and female Jawarandu goats with the infestation rate in males being 53.33% higher than that of females being 30.00%. The types of worms found in the Jawarandu goats kept came from the nematode class in the male sex, namely Haemonchus sp., Trichuris sp., Toxocara sp., Strongyloides sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Trichuris sp., Toxocara sp., and the trematodes class, namely there are worms Paramphistomum sp., and Fasciola sp. In females, the types of worms that infect the nematode class are Trichuris sp., Toxocara sp., and the trematode class, namely Paramphistomum sp., and Fasciola sp.
