Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) merupakan salah satu program di PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab sosial terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) saat ini menjadi sebuah tanggung jawab mutlak yang harus dilakukan oleh perusahaan dalam menjaga dan menjalin komunikasi sosialnya terhadap masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitar perusahaan. Tujuan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab sosial pada masyarakat untuk mencapai salah satu tujuan perusahaan yakni meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini penulis menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) bersifat bukan sebagai CSR, akan tetapi lebih mengarah sebagai bentuk bantuan sosial, dalam pelaksanaannya PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII meminta proposal pengajuan dana kepada masyarakat yang merasa membutuhkan bantuan tersebut, bukan dengan kesadaran perusahaan atas lingkungan sekitar atau lingkungan yang mengalami kerugian akibat adanya perusahaan tersebut. Hal tersebut tidak sesuai dengan konsep CSR, yang mana perusahaan secara sukarela memberikan kontribusi penuh sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab moral perusahaan atas akibat-akibat yang ditimbulkan terhadap masyarakat dan lingkungan tempat perusahaan itu berada. Kata Kunci : Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Implementasi CSR Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the programs at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII as a form of social responsibility towards the surrounding environment. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is currently an absolute responsibility that must be carried out by companies in maintaining and establishing social communication with the community and the environment around the company. The purpose of writing this Final Project is to find out the implementation of PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program as a form of social responsibility to the community to achieve one of the company's goals, namely to improve the quality of life of the community. In this Final Project the writer uses data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program is not CSR, but is more directed as a form of social assistance, in practice PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII asks for proposals for submission of funds to people who feel they need this assistance, not with company awareness. on the surrounding environment or the environment that suffered losses as a result of the existence of the company. This is not in accordance with the concept of CSR, in which the company voluntarily makes a full contribution as a form of corporate moral responsibility for the consequences it has on society and the environment where the company is located.
