Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini semakin pesat, khususnya kemajuan teknologi informasi. Masa sekarang masih banyak para pedagang yang sering berdagang keliling ke komplek-komplek perumahan ataupun di jalan-jalan kecil. Pembeli kesulitan membeli dagangan pedagang kaki lima karena tidak mengetahui kapan pedagang kaki lima lewat depan rumah dan tidak tahu jenis dagangan yang dijual pedagang kaki lima. Salah satu pemecahan masalah tersebut adalah membuat sistem yang dapat melacak pedagang dengan memanfaatkan GPS. Data lokasi pedagang akan dikirim ke internet kemudian data lokasi tersebut akan diubah menjadi informasi yang bisa diakses melalui web yang dibuat dengan menggunakan framework Code Igniter. Hasil pengujian dengan Black Box mendapatkan sistem berjalan dengan baik. Kata kunci : GPS, Code Igniter The development of technology is currently accelerating, especially the advancement of information technology. Nowadays there are still many traders who often trade around to housing complexes or on small streets. Buyers have difficulty buying merchandise from street vendors because they do not know when street vendors pass in front of the house and do not know the types of merchandise sold by street vendors. One solution to the problem is to create a system that can track merchants by utilizing GPS. Merchant location data will be sent to the internet then the location data will be converted into information that can be accessed through the web created using the Code Igniter framework. The results of testing with Black Box get the system running well. Keywords : GPS, Code Igniter
