Abstract

Tulip Afrika (Spathodea campanulata) merupakan tumbuhan spesies asing yang berasal dari Benua Afrika. Tumbuhan ini tergolong kedalam tumbuhan invasif yang mempunyai karakteristik adaptif, pertumbuhan yang cepat dan persebaran yang tinggi. Tulip Afrika telah di tetapkan sebagai salah satu dari 100 spesies paling invasif, yang telah menyerang berbagai tempat dan TNBBS merupakan salah satunya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan jenis pola dan luas sebaran dari spesies Tulip Afrika. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai Oktober 2022 dengan lokasi di Zona Pemanfaatan, Resort Pemerihan, Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan dengan menggunakan metode observasi untuk pengambilan titik koordinat dengan intensitas sampling 100% dengan luas 674 Ha yang dibantu dengan data dugaan ahli. Pengambilan data parameter abiotik juga dilakukan untuk menunjang dalam penentuan jenis pola sebaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Tulip Afrika (Spathodea campanulata) memiliki jenis pola acak yang disebabkan oleh kemampuan tumbuh dan faktor lingkungan yang mendukung. Luas persebaran dari Tulip Afrika adalah 4,3 ha atau 0,64 % dari total luas lokasi penelitian yang disebabkan oleh menurunnya pemanfaatan spesies ini oleh masyarakat. Kata kunci : Tulip Afrika, Spathodea campanulata, TNBBS, Invasif, Taman Nasional African Tulip (Spathodea campanulata) is a exotic plant species originating from the African continent. This plant is classified into invasive plants that have adaptive characteristics, fast growth and high distribution. African Tulip has been establish as one of the 100 most invasive species, which has invaded various places and TNBBS is one of them. The purpose of this research is to obtain the type of pattern and distribution area of African Tulip species. This research was conducted from September to October 2022 with the location in the Utilization Zone, Pemerihan Resort, Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park by using the observation method for taking coordinate points with 100% sampling intensity with an area of 674 Ha which was assisted by expert judgement data. Data collection of abiotic parameters was also carried out to support the determination of the type of distribution pattern. The results showed that African Tulip (Spathodea campanulata) has a type of random pattern caused by the ability to grow and supportive environmental factors. The distribution area of African Tulip is 4.3 ha or 0.64% of the total area of the study site caused by the decline in the utilization of this species by the community.
