Kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani penting dalam mendukung difusi inovasi pertanian. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui: 1) bagaimanakah efektivitas kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani dalam percepatan difusi inovasi PTT, 2) faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang berhubungan dengan efektivitas kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani dalam percepatan difusi inovasi PTT, 3) apakah ada hubungan efektivitas kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani dengan tingkat kecepatan difusi inovasi PTT, 4) Apakah ada perbedaan status kelompok dalam efektivitas kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Februari 2023. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 120 anggota kelompok tani. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Seputih Raman karena lokasi ini merupakan lokasi yang menerapkan PTT dan memiliki produksi padi teratas di Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman dan uji perbedaan menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani adalah efektif tampak dari kemampuan mengambil keputusan, kemampuan berkomunikasi, kemampuan mengendalikan emosi, memberikan pengawasan, dan pengorganisasian. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan efektifivitas kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani dalam difusi inovasi PTT adalah umur, pendidikan formal, pendidikan non formal, pengalaman memimpin, ukuran kelompok, dan kohesi kelompok. Difusi inovasi PTT masuk kedalam kategori cukup cepat, yang dilihat dari tingkat adopsi PTT yang cukup baik, waktu adopsi PTT yang cepat, dan cakupan tersebarnya PTT cukup luas. Kemudian tidak ada perbedaan efektivitas kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani pada status kelompok tani yang berbeda. Kata kunci: difusi, efektivitas, inovasi, kepemimpinan, PTT Leadership of farmer group leaders is important in supporting the diffusion of agricultural innovations. This study aims to find out: 1) how is the effectiveness of the leadership of farmer group leaders in accelerating the diffusion of PTT innovations, 2) what factors are related to the effectiveness of the leadership of farmer group leaders in accelerating the diffusion of PTT innovations, 3) is there a relationship between the effectiveness of the leadership of group leaders farmers with the level of PTT innovation diffusion speed, 4) Is there a difference in group status in the effectiveness of the leadership of the farmer group leaders. Data collection was carried out in January-February 2023. Respondents in this study totaled 120 members of the farmer group. This research was conducted in Seputih Raman District because this location is a location that implements PTT and has the highest rice production in Lampung Province. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach which was analyzed using the Rank Spearman correlation test and the difference test using the Kruskal-Wallis test. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of the leadership of the farmer group leaders is quite effective as can be seen from the ability to make decisions, the ability to communicate, the ability to control emotions, provide supervision, and organize. Factors related to the leadership effectiveness of farmer group leaders in the diffusion of PTT innovations are age, formal education, non-formal education, leadership experience, group size, and group cohesion. PTT innovation diffusion is quite fast, as seen from the rate of adoption based on the use of superior seeds, land management, planting the jajar legowo cropping system, use of fertilizers, pest control, disease control and the scope of the spread of PTT innovations. Then there is no difference in the effectiveness of the leadership of the farmer group leaders in different group statuses. Keywords: diffusion, effectiveness, innovation, leadership, PTT
