Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan critical thinking siswa SMA KELAS XI MIPA pada materi elastisitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA YADIKA Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 36 peserta didik kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan 36 peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian yang di gunakan adalah nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. Data tes kemampuan critical thinking siswa baik pretest maupun posttest di uji menggunakan analisis uji independent sample t-test, menggunakan equal variances not assumed dengan nilai sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0,000. Berdasarkan penentuan pengambilan keputusan jika nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,00 < 0,05 maka diterima , artinya terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata kemampuan critical thinking siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah diberikan perlakuan. Kata kunci: kemampuan critical thinking, elastisitas, model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing This study aims to determine the guided inquiry learning model on the critical thinking skills of SMA CLASS XI MIPA students on elasticity material. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMA YADIKA Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample in this study was 36 students in class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class, and 36 students in class XI IPA 2 as the control class. Desain penelitian yang di gunakan adalah nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. The test data for students' critical thinking skills, both pretest and posttest, were tested using independent sample t-test analysis, using equal variances not assumed with a sig value. (2- tailed) of 0.000. Based on the determination of decision making if the sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05 then H_1 is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in the average value of students' critical thinking abilities in the experimental class and the control class after being given treatment.
