Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membentuk budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membentuk budaya sekolah di SD Negeri 4 Metro Barat, dengan fokus penelitian konsep budaya sekolah, strategi kepala sekolah, proses kepala sekolah membentuk budaya sekolah. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Pembentukan konsep budaya sekolah, dimulai dari menyusun visi misi sekolah. Penyusunan visi misi sekolah dilakukan secara musyawarah yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, komite sekolah, dan seluruh pemangku kebijakan sekolah. Dari hasil penyusunan visi misi sekolah tersebut kemudian kepala sekolah melakukan perencanaan mengenai budaya sekolah yang akan diterapkan di SD Negeri 4 Metro Barat. 2) Setelah membuat perencanaan dengan matang melalui musyawarah/ rapat selanjutnya kepala sekolah melakukan bimbingan kepada pendidik dan juga peserta didik. Bimbingan kepada pendidik dilakukan melalui rapat, bimbingan tersebut berupa penyusunan budaya sekolah yang akan diterapkan dan bimbingan kepada peserta didik dilakukan melalui amanat upacara. 3) Proses yang selanjutnya adalah mempengaruhi, kepala sekolah mempengaruhi bawahannya dengan menggunakan kekuasaan yang dimilikinya dengan cara selalu disiplin, demokratis, dan bertanggung jawab. Kemudian mempertahankan, kepala sekolah mempertahankan budaya sekolah dengan cara membuat kegiatan seperti, sholat duha, membaca al- quran, dan membaca buku bacaan semua dilakukan sebelum pembelajaran dimulai, serta membuat perlombaan kebersihan kelas yang diikuti oleh semua kelas. Kata kunci : kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, strategi kepala sekolah membina dan mengembangkan budaya sekolah. The problem in this research is the principal's leadership in shaping the school culture. This study aims to describe the leadership of the principal in shaping the school culture at SD Negeri 4 Metro Barat, with a focus on research on the concept of school culture, the strategy of the principal, the process by which the principal forms school culture. The research method in this study is the method of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study are 1) Formation of the concept of school culture, starting from compiling the vision and mission of the school. The preparation of the school's vision and mission is carried out by deliberation involving the school principal, teachers, school committee, and all school policy stakeholders. From the results of the preparation of the school's vision and mission, the principal then plans the school culture that will be implemented at SD Negeri 4 Metro Barat. 2) After making careful planning through deliberations/meetings, the principal then provides guidance to educators and students. Guidance to educators is carried out through meetings, the guidance is in the form of preparing a school culture that will be implemented and guidance to students is carried out through ceremonial mandates. 3) The next process is influencing, the principal influences his subordinates by using the power he has in a way that is always disciplined, democratic and responsible. Then defend, the principal maintains the school culture by holding activities such as Duha prayers, reading the Koran, and reading books all done before learning begins, as well as holding class cleanliness competitions that all classes take part in.
