ABSTRAK Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh konsentrasi kepemilikan saham dan asimetri informasi terhadap underpricing saham. Pengukuran konsentrasi kepemilikan saham diproksikan dengan presentase saham terbesar sedangkan variabel asimetri informasi diproksikan dengan bid-asks spread. Variabel underpricing dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan menggunakaninitial return. Variabel kontrol dalam penelitian ini adalah financial leverage. Sampel pada penelitian ini mencakup 70 perusahaan yang telah memenuhi kriteria sampel dengan waktu pengamatan 4 tahun dari tahun 2010 hingga tahun 2013. Alat analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi kepemilikan saham tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap underpricing saham sedangkan asimetri informasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap underpricing saham. ABSTRACT This research investigated the effect of stock ownership concentration and information asymmetry toward stock underpricing. The measurement of stock ownership concentration was proxied by the larger stock precentage, while the information asymmetry was proxied by bid-ask spread. The stock underpricing was proxied by initial return. The control variabel for this study wasfinancial leverage. The sample for this research consists of 70 corporations that have fulfilled sample criteria in 2010 until 2013. The data on this research were tested by multiple linear regression. The result of this research showed that the stock ownership concentration had not significantly effect toward the stock underprpicing while the information asymmetry had significantly positiveeffect toward thestock underpricing.
