Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar tematik muatan IPA peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan perbedaan yang signifikan penerapan model problem based learning dengan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar tematik muatan IPA peserta didik. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen semu desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 81 orang peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 40 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data teknik tes dan non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh dan perbedaan yang signifikan penerapan model problem based learning dengan media audio visual berupa meningkatnya hasil belajar tematik muatan IPA peserta didik kelompok eksperimen, ditunjukkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji t pengaruh, diperoleh data kelompok eksperimen thitung = 16,371 > ttabel = 2,093 artinya terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar tematik muatan IPA menggunakan model problem based learning dengan media audio visual, kelompok kontrol diperoleh data thitung = 10,814 > ttabel = 2,093 artinya terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar tematik muatan IPA tanpa model problem based learning dengan media audio visual, disimpulkan peningkatan lebih tinggi pada kelompok eksperimen. Menggunakan rumus uji t perbedaan diperoleh data thitung = 3,829 > ttabel = 2,042 artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penerapan model problem based learning dengan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar tematik muatan IPA. Dari uji perbandingan disimpulkan model problem based learning dengan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik muatan IPA, sehingga model problem based learning dengan media audio visual dapat dijadikan model pembelajaran di SD. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, media audio visual, problem based learning. The problem of this research was the low thematic learning outcomes of science content of grade V students of SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat. The purpose of the study was to determine the significant influence and difference in the application of problem based learning model with audio visual media on the thematic learning outcomes of student science content. This type of research was pseudo experimental research design non-equivalent control group design. The study population amounted to 81 students. The study used purposive sampling techniques totaling 40 students. Data collection techniques test and non test techniques. The results showed that there were significant influences and differences in the application of problem based learning model with audio visual media in the form of increasing thematic learning outcomes of science content of experimental group students, hypothesis testing was shown using the influence t test formula, obtained experimental group data tcount = 16,371 > ttable = 2,093 meaning that there was an increase in thematic learning outcomes of science content using a problem based learning model with audio visual media, the control group data obtained tcount = 10,814 > ttable = 2,093 meaning that there was an increase in thematic learning outcomes of science content without a problem based learning model with audio visual media, it was concluded that the increase was higher in the experimental group. Using the t test formula, the difference obtained data tcount = 3,829 > ttable = 2,042 means that there is a significant difference in the application of the problem based learning model with audio visual media to the thematic learning outcomes of science content. From the comparison test, it is concluded that the problem based learning model with audio visual media can improve thematic learning outcomes of science content, so that the problem based learning model with audio visual media can be used as a learning model in elementary school.
