Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
This research aims to explain the characteristics of journalistic language, which consist of being concise, compact, simple, engaging, clear, and straightforward, on five French news websites: Le Monde, Le Figaro, Le Parisien, La Libération, and La Croix. The news selected for analysis is from the cultural rubric, particularly cinema. The data collection technique employed is content analysis. Subsequently, descriptive qualitative techniques are used to analyze the gathered data. The study's validity is ensured through theoretical triangulation and a reliability test for stability sum. The results indicate the presence of 52 data points representing journalistic language features, including 9 instances of concise journalistic language, 8 instances of compact journalistic language, 4 instances of simple journalistic language, 14 instances of engaging journalistic language, 12 instances of clear journalistic language, and 5 instances of straightforward journalistic language characteristics.
