Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis indikator kinerja dari yang paling diperhatikan sampai yang tidak diperhatikan dalam pengambilan keputusan manajer dan membandingkan perusahaan asuransi di Indonesia yang memiliki indeks kinerja paling terbaik dan indeks kinerja paling terburuk dengan metode best worst method (BWM). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan variabel perspektif keuangan nilai rata-rata sebesar 2,8529, artinya variabel perspektif keuangan yang paling diperhatikan dalam keputusan manajer, variabel perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 2,0588, artinya variabel perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan yang tidak diperhatikan dalam keputusan manajer, indikator profit after tax memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,9706, artinya indikator profit after tax yang paling diperhatikan dalam pengambilan keputusan manajer, indikator jumlah agen memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 2,4706, artinya dalam penelitian ini indikator jumlah agen tidak diperhatikan dalam pengambilan keputusan manajer. Hasil perhitungan indeks kinerja menggunakan metode BWM adalah PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG menunjukkan peringkat ke 1 perusahaan asuransi terbaik tahun 2020 dengan memperoleh nilai indeks kinerja sebesar 101,25. PT Asuransi Bina Dana Arta menunjukkan peringkat ke 17 perusahaan asuransi terburuk untuk tahun 2020 dengan nilai indeks kinerja sebesar 85,89. PT Prudential Life Assurance menunjukkan peringkat ke 1 perusahaan asuransi terbaik tahun 2021 dengan memperoleh nilai indeks kinerja sebesar 155,77. PT Asuransi Bina Dana Arta menunjukkan peringkat ke 17 perusahaan asuransi terburuk untuk tahun 2021 dengan nilai indeks kinerja sebesar 90,06. Kata Kunci: Pengukuran Kinerja, Balanced Scorecard, Best Worst Method (BWM). This research aims to analyze performance indicators from those that are most considered to those that are not considered in manager decision making and compare insurance companies in Indonesia that have the best performance index and the worst performance index using the Best Worst Method (BWM). The research method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The results of this research show that the learning and growth perspective variable has an average value of 2.8529, meaning that the financial perspective variable is the one that is most paid attention to in manager decisions, the learning and growth perspective variable has an average value of 2.0588, meaning that the learning and growth perspective variable growth is not taken into account in manager decisions, the profit after tax indicator has an average value of 3.9706, meaning that the profit after tax indicator is the most considered in manager decision making, the number of agents indicator has an average value of 2.4706, meaning that in the research this is an indicator of the number of agents who are not considered in manager decision making. The results of calculating the performance index using the BWM method are that PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG is ranked 1st as the best insurance company in 2020 by obtaining a performance index value of 101.25. PT Asuransi Bina Dana Arta ranked 17th worst insurance company for 2020 with a performance index value of 85.89. PT Prudential Life Assurance was ranked 1st as the best insurance company in 2021 by obtaining a performance index value of 155.77.
