Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inovatif tipe word square dan media grafis terhadap hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD yang berjumlah 112 peserta didik dan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 56 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan teknik nontes. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada model pembelajaran inovatif tipe word square dan media grafis terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang. Kata kunci : model pembelajaran inovatif tipe word square, media grafis, kemampuan berpikir kritis. The problem in this research was the low critical thinking ability of 4th grade elementary school students. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of innovative learning model type word square and graphic media on the results of critical thinking skills of 4th grade students of SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with non- equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all 4th grade elementary school students totaling 112 students and the determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique with a total of 56 students. Data collection techniques using test techniques and techniques nontes. Data analysis in this study using multiple linear regression test. The results showed that there was a significant influence on innovative learning models of word square type and graphic media on the critical thinking skills of 4th grade students of SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang.
