Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu kurangnya penggunaan variasi model pembelajaran dan rendahnya aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas V SD Islam Terpadu Al Muhsin Metro. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar, (2) pengaruh model pembelajaran example non example terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar, (3) perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick dan example non example terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design sehingga terdapat kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Populasi berjumlah 94 peserta didik kelas V SD Islam Terpadu Al Muhsin Metro. Sampel dalam penelitan ini adalah 44 peserta didik kelas V SD Islam Terpadu Al Muhsin Metro, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar, (2) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran example non example terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar, (3) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick dan example non example terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, talking stick The problem in this study is the lack of using a variety of learning models and the low learning activity of fifth grade students of Al Muhsin Metro Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the effect of the talking stick learning model on the learning activities of grade V elementary school students, (2) the effect of the example non example learning model on the learning activities of grade V elementary school students, (3) the difference in the effect of talking stick and example non example learning models on the learning activities of grade V elementary school students. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design so that there are experimental classes and control classes. The instrument used was an observation sheet. The population amounted to 94 fifth grade students of Al Muhsin Metro Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The sample in this research was 44 fifth grade students of Al Muhsin Metro Integrated Islamic Elementary School, the sample was determined by simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. The results showed that (1) there was an effect of the talking stick learning model on the learning activities of grade V elementary school students, (2) there was an effect of the example non example learning model on the learning activities of grade V elementary school students, (3) there was a difference in the effect of talking stick and example non example learning models on the learning activities of grade V elementary school students.
