Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dari modul berbasis PQ4R dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Reseaech and Developments (R&D), Pengembangan dilakukan mengacu pada teori ADDIE. Uji efektivitas menggunakan Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV Gugus Raden Intan. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dan diperoleh sebanyak 55 peserta didik, yang terdiri dari 28 peserta didik dari kelas eksperimen dan 27 peserta didik di kelas kontrol. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan instrumen tes yang valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian uji validasi materi diperoleh nilai 71,66 (valid), penilaian uji validasi bahasa diperoleh nilai 89,28 (sangat valid). Penilaian uji validasi mediadiperoleh nilai 81,94 (sangat valid), Hasil pengembangan dari modul berbasis PQ4R menunjukkan bahwa modul berbasis PQ4R valid dan praktis untuk digunakan. Uji efektivitas dengan hasil terdapat perbedaan efektifitas kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Besarnya peningkatan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan Effect Size mendapatkan kategori besar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran berbasis PQ4R pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Modul, PQ4R, Pembelajaran Tematik, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis The aim of this study was to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the PQ4R-based module in improving students' critical thinking skills. This research is a type of Research and Developments (R&D) research. The development is carried out according to the ADDIE theory. Test the effectiveness using the Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The population of this study were students of class IV of the Raden Intan Cluster. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique which was in accordance with the research objectives and obtained as many as 55 students, consisting of 28 students from the experimental class and 27 students in the control class. The data collection tool uses valid and reliable test instruments. The results of this study indicate that the material validation test score obtained a value of 71.66 (valid), the language validation test score obtained a value of 89.28 (very valid). The evaluation of the media validation test obtained a value of 81.94 (very valid). The results of the development of the PQ4R-based module show that the PQ4R-based module is valid and practical to use. The effectiveness test with the result is that there are differences in the effectiveness of students' critical thinking abilities. The magnitude of the increase in students' critical thinking with Effect Size is in the large category. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of the experimental class are better than the control class. So it can be concluded that the PQ4R-based learning module in the thematic learning of grade IV Elementary Schools that was developed is valid, practical, and effective for improving critical thinking skills.
