Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama pendidikan, jenis pekerjaan, usia kawin pertama dan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi terhadap jumlah anak yang dilahirkan wanita pasangan usia subur (PUS) di Desa Merak Batin Kecamatan Natar Kabupaten Lampung Selatan tahun 2014. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh wanita PUS yang memiliki anak lahir hidup minimal satu, dengan jumlah 2.035 jiwa, dengan sampel penelitian sebesar 95 wanita PUS yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) lama pendidikan berpengaruh terhadap jumalah anak yang dilahirkan, besarnya sumbangan pengaruh (r2) yaitu 23,9 persen, (2) jenis pekerjaan berpengaruh terhadap jumlah anak yang dilahirkan, besarnya sumbangan pengaruh (r2) yaitu 20,8 persen, (3) usia kawin pertama berpengaruh terhadap jumlah anak yng dilahirkan, besarnya sumbangan pengaruh (r2) yaitu 31,6 persen,(4) penggunaan alat kontrasepsi berpengaruh terhadap jumalah anak yang dilahirkan, besarnya sumbangan pengaruh (r2) yaitu 51,1 persen, (5) lama pendidikan, jeis pekerjaan, usia kawin pertama dan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi berpengaruh terhadap jumlah anak yang dilahirkan, besarnya sumbangan pengaruh (r2) yaitu 61,10 persen. Kata kunci: Lama Pendidikan, Jenis Pekerjaan, Alat Kontrasepsi, Usia Kawin Pertama, Jumlah Anak. This study aims to determine the effect of long education, occupation, first marriage age and use contraceptive device on number of children born female age couple lush (efa) in merak batin village natar district south lampung regency year 2014. Research using survey method. The population in this study are all EFA woman who had at least one child born alive, the number of 2,035 inhabitants, with a sample of 95 women EFA obtained using proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected using structured interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) the length of education affect the number of children born, the contribution of influence (r2) is 23,9 percent, (2) the type of work affect the number of children born, the contribution of influence (r2) is 20,8 percent, (3) age at first marriage affect the number of children born, the contribution of the effect (r2) is 31,6 per cent, (4) the use of contraceptives affect the number of children born, the contribution of influence (r2) is 51,1 percent, (5) the length of education, occupation, age at first marriage and the use of contraceptives affect the number of children born, the contribution of influence (r2) is 61,10 percent.
