Hutan mangrove memiliki peran penting sebagai pendukung ketahanan lingkungan di wilayah pesisir sehinga dapat menjadi upaya mitigasi bencana alam. Hal ini saling berhubungan dengan kondisi kesehatan hutan mangrove dan kegiatan pengelolaan yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai trend kesehatan hutan mangrove Purworejo Pasir Sakti, Lampung Timur, tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove, dan hubungan nilai trend kesehatan hutan mangrove dengan partisipasi masyarakat. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) dengan mengamati indikator ekologis kesehatan hutan yaitu produktivitas, vitalitas dan kualitas tapak, dan metode wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan Sistem Informasi Penilaian Kesehatan Hutan (SIPUT), Skala Likert, dan uji Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa pada pengukuran pertama (status) kesehatan hutan mangrove Purworejo Pasir Sakti memiliki kategori sedang, pengukuran kedua (change) memiliki kategori sedang, dan pengukuran ketiga (trend) memiliki kategori sedang. Tingkat partisipasi masyarakat pada tahap perencanaan memiliki kategori rendah, tahap pelaksanaan memiliki kategori tinggi, tahap pemanfaatan memiliki kategori sedang, dan tahap pemeliharaan memiliki kategori rendah. Dengan demikian, nilai trend kesehatan hutan mangrove Purworejo Pasir Sakti berada dalam kategori sedang (7,65) dengan adanya peningkatan pada nilai akhir kesehatan hutan. Nilai trend kesehatan hutan mangrove memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi masyarakat berdasarkan tahapan pelaksanaan. Sehingga, peran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove perlu ditingkatkan untuk menjaga kelestarian hutan mangrove Purworejo Pasir Sakti dan dapat mendukung kesiapsiagaan masyarakat. This is interconnected with the health condition of the mangrove forest and the management activities carried out. This research aims to determine the trend value of mangrove forest health in Purworejo Pasir Sakti, East Lampung, the level of community participation in mangrove forest management, and the relationship between the trend value of mangrove forest health and community participation. The research method uses the Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) technique by observing ecological indicators of forest health, namely productivity, vitality and site quality, and interview methods. Data analysis uses the Forest Health Assessment Information System (SIPUT), Likert Scale, and Spearman Rank test. The results of the research show that the first measurement (status) of the health of the Purworejo Pasir Sakti mangrove forest is in the medium category (1.22), the second measurement (change) is in the medium category (3.25), and the third measurement (trend) is in the medium category ( 7.65). The value of the level of community participation at the planning stage is in the low category, the implementation stage is in the high category, the utilization stage is in the medium category, and the maintenance stage is in the low category. The health trend value of the Purworejo Pasir Sakti mangrove forest is in the medium category (7.65) with an increase in the final value of forest health. The trend value of mangrove forest health has a significant relationship to the level of community participation based on implementation stages. Thus, the role of the community in mangrove forest management needs to be increased to preserve the Purworejo Pasir Sakti mangrove forest and can support community preparedness.
